Tony Furtado's pedigree is impressive. Now with the release of Golden, he's put out 15 albums to date, worked with the likes of Allison Krauss, Kelly Joe Phelps, NRBQ guitarist Al Anderson, and songwriter Jules Shear to name a few. He's been called a genius on banjo and slide guitar and his own creative interpretation/hybrid of traditional folk music and rock is captivating. On Golden, he has not only come into his own comfort zone, but he has surpassed all expectations for this record.
