Global Crafts Mexican Coffee Mug 12 oz - Hand-Painted Orange Flower

Global Crafts Mexican Coffee Mug 12 oz - Hand-Painted Orange Flower

• ORANGE FLORAL POTTERY MUG: A single hand-painted mug in a round, beaker-inspired shape, decorated with an orange floral pattern applied freehand. The texture carries across the exterior, the interior and the handle, so the pattern is something you feel as well as see, and each mug turns out a little different from the last one painted.
• MADE FROM LEAD FREE CLAY: Shaped and fired from lead-free clay, the mug is built with thick walls and a sturdy applied handle. The finish is microwave safe and dishwasher safe for daily use and is not intended for the oven. Colors stay bright through repeated washing, so a mug in daily rotation keeps the character it had on the first morning.
• TWELVE OUNCES OF COFFEE: The mug holds 12 oz and measures 4 in tall by 4 in wide, a practical size for morning coffee, an afternoon tea or a mug of hot chocolate. It fits easily on a standard cabinet shelf, the handle gives a firm grip whether the drink inside is hot or cold, and it is made to be reused rather than replaced.
• WARM COLOR AT BREAKFAST: Orange flowers on a casual, hand-formed silhouette give a plain kitchen a lift, pairing well with wooden boards, woven mats and simple white plates. As a single mug it works as a small wedding, housewarming or thank-you gift for a coffee drinker who would rather own one handmade cup than a boxed set.
• PAINTED BY HAND IN GUANAJUATO: Artisans in Guanajuato, Mexico paint every mug individually, which is why the flowers sit at a slightly different angle on each one and no two pieces match exactly. Global Crafts is a member of the Fair Trade Federation, and buying this mug helps keep that pottery tradition, and the income from it, in artisan hands.
