WHISKY TASTING / NOSING COPITA – The Glencairn Nosing Copita can be used for both whisky and Sherry. This small tulip shape is used by blenders and whisky enthusiasts to enhance the sensory experience when tasting or smelling spirits.
WHISKY LID COVER - The Tasting Cap is designed to help contain the vapours from your whisky to give greater concentrations of aromas whilst nosing.
ENHANCING SPIRIT DRINKING EXPERIENCE – The tulip shape of the bowl allows the spirit to be swirled sufficiently opening the alcohol vapours. Permitting the aroma to intertwine with the oxygen and develop the flavour / smell of chosen your spirit.

The unique and stylish shape has been crafted with eminent care to enhance the enjoyment of single malts and aged blends.

The tulip shape of the bowl allows the liquid to be swirled sufficiently prior to nosing and the small opening retains the alcohol vapours and concentrates the nose. Once the sherry or whisky has been poured it is always a great idea to seal the glass with a cover such as a tasting cap, then swirl and leave for a few minutes to let it stand and allow the aromas to intertwine with the oxygen and develop sufficiently. The perfect nose!
