Banda Rossa, the Giusti family's personal reserve, released only after extensive ageing in the most antique and precious barrels, when maturation, aroma, and flavors have reached the level recognized by the Giusti generations as "Banda Rossa". Deliciously sweet with fruity notes, this dark brown jewel expertly balances sweet and sour, and rewards the senses with an intense perfume and full-bodied aroma. Banda Rossa is a precious, limited product that should be used only according to the most noble of balsamic vinegar: a droplet on a strawberry, a piece of Parmesan cheese, or on ice cream, or tasted and devoured alone for its flavor as an elixir. A true lover of balsamic vinegar will also use it for recipes that do not involve heating since it will lose the precise balance and bouquet. PRODUCER INFORMATION |In 1598, Giuseppe Giusti opened his vinegar business in Modena, Italy. Now celebrating the company's fourth century, the Giusti family has made balsamic vinegar in the same building since 1605. Top-quality grapes, natural fermentation and a decade of aging account for the marvelous transformation of white grapes into the dark, mellow vinegar that gives Northern Italian cooking one of its most celebrated flavors.
