• Complete 10 ft Kit: Includes three 3.35 ft aluminum retainer sections, three matching 5 cm brush sections, one 10 ft U- and O-profile EPDM rubber seal, and 30 screws. Components can be trimmed to fit doors up to 10 ft wide.
• Dual-Layer Weather Stripping: The flexible rubber seal compresses against the floor while the brush adds a second layer that helps limit drafts, dust, leaves, and loose outdoor debris. It is not designed as a watertight flood barrier.
• Confirm Door Compatibility: Designed for flat-bottom garage doors with a mounting surface suitable for screws. Before ordering, measure the door width, bottom clearance, mounting area, and available space for the approximately 2 in brush.
• Tools and Assembly Required: Installation requires measuring, cutting the aluminum and seal materials, fastening the retainer with screws, and sliding the rubber seal and brush into their channels.
• Winter Installation Tip: Before installation in cold weather, allow the chilled or frozen rubber seal to return to room temperature. A small amount of soapy water inside the channel can help the rubber slide into place. After installation, run a full open-and-close cycle and adjust any rubbing or binding.
