Geisha Coffee Beans from Costa Rica is an ancient and very rare coffee, it is one of the Ethiopia wild coffees. It was found close to the Ethiopian town of Gesha and brought to Costa Rica. The taste of Geisha Coffee from Costa Rica can be described as soft and delicate profile with quietly complex aromatics that reward patient attention: flowering grass, lavender, a crisp, rather vegetal cocoa, hints of molasses and pipe tobacco.

Geisha has about 30% less caffeine content than common Arabica coffees. The yield of Geisha is extremely low which is why is so difficult to find commercial plantations of this coffee. Limited supplies.

The farm is located in the district of Biolley, in southern Costa Rica, very close to the border with Panama, about 5 hours from San Jose, similar to Geisha Esmeralda Coffee from Panama which is grown nearby.
