This is not only for cabbing, it is excellent on a felt or leather belt to polish Thundereggs and Agate Geodes for a rapid "mirror" finish. It was originally created for hard to polish stones such as obsidian and jade or turquoise but works fantastic on everything else: jaspers, petrified woods, agates. You won't get the orange peel effect on your jade that you get when you use other polishes, such as cerium oxide. .... Obsidian - to reduce time and work, sand with very worn out 100 grit belt. Wash and then polish with M-5. ..... Jade - M-5 will prevent orange peel and give a deeper shine. .... Renew tarnished jewelry and metals. Enhance previously polished rocks.
