Freebird Camox by blackcrows

• WHY WE LIKE IT - The balance between skiability and performance makes it one of the most versatile backcountry skis out there and its reactive intuitiveness puts it a step ahead of other skis in this category.
• WHO IT'S FOR - Advanced to expert backcountry skiers who need a ski that has a bit more performance to it than a typical touring ski in this mid 90 mm underfoot backcountry category.
• HIGHLIGHTS -A lightweight paulownia woodcore keeps the weight down without sacrificing too much in the way of stiffness. Paulownia is not a dense wood so there is a good deal of suppleness to it but there certainly is a surprising amount of stiffness, both in a longitudinal sense and a torsional sense. Reinforcing the paulownia, the Camox Freebird also gets Fiberglass and Carbon Fiber stringers to boost the stiffness and energy of the ski without adding a lot of overall weight.
• FIT AND SIZING CONSIDERATIONS - Skis true to size.
