Fox Run Blueberry Pie Vent, Pie Bird for Baking

Fox Run Blueberry Pie Vent, Pie Bird for Baking

• BLUEBERRY SHAPED CERAMIC PIE BIRD: This 1.75" x 1.75" x 3" pie vent is made of hand painted porcelain shaped like a blueberry, adding a retro, whimsical touch to any homemade fruit pie.
• VENTS STEAM FOR A GOLDEN CRUST: Placed in the center of your pie, this pie bird vents built-up steam and pressure from inside, so the crust bakes evenly golden instead of bubbling or cracking.
• HOLDS YOUR CRUST IN PLACE: Beyond venting steam, this pie vent helps hold the top crust in place and stops it from sagging in the center, giving fruit pies a cleaner, more finished look.
• OVEN SAFE TO 450°F, HAND WASH: Rated oven safe up to 450°F, this pie bird is hand wash only and not dishwasher safe, so let it cool completely before placing it in water.
• A CHARMING GIFT FOR PIE BAKERS: This blueberry pie vent makes a fun, retro gift for anyone who bakes apple, cherry, or blueberry pie regularly, adding personality to every pie that comes out of the oven.
