Foghat's electrified and hard-rocking boogie was a multiplatinum success in the 1970s, long after the fabled British blues boom had come to an end--a testament to the enormous and wide-ranging appeal of the music as envisioned by singer/guitarist "Lonesome" Dave Peverett. Millennium Tour gives us undistilled Foghat, recorded and filmed live in concert in 1999, shortly before Peverett's premature death at the age of 56.
