• This is Focalink's single-chambered ocarina in the key of Alto F from D to high B flat for a total of 13 notes.
• Straw fire is when an already kiln-fired ocarina is put inside a fire-proof container and fired again with combustable straw. The smoke from the fire makes organic designs and rich woodsy color on the surface of the ocarina. The ocarina is then polished with an organic lacquer which comes from certain trees. Camphor oil is used to thin the lacquer. There are a very small number of individuals who have reported allergic reactions to the Straw Fired ocarinas. • All instruments are finely tuned for clarity and pitch and we use a unique straw firing process that creates beautiful earth tone colors throughout. A lacquer is also applied to bring out the richness in color. Because of this unique handcrafted process, no two ocarinas will look the same. **Includes our new specially designed light weight ocarina hard-shell case which gives the best possible protection for your instrument. There is special material inside to keep the ocarina in perfectly safe condition even when we drop the case to the ground intentionally.** Each instrument comes with a fingering chart, polishing cloth and metal channel cleaner.
