At 1:13, there is a demonstration using the refill bottle. As you can see, we suggest always filling your candles over a paper towel because there may be a drip or two and fuel can act as a solvent on wood and painted surfaces.
As you can see, there is very little fuel left in the spout. Simply, unscrew the cap. This will release the pressure and the fuel will return to the bottle from the tip. Store on a plastic lid or a paper towel. That's how we do it.
