- MADE FOR THE FIELD NO.10 – An exact fit for the Field No.10 Cast Iron Skillet. Field sizing follows vintage cast iron conventions: No.10 means 11⅝" edge-to-edge. Not compatible with other brands.
- STEAM, BRAISE & FINISH – A tight-fitting 11⅝" lid turns your Field No.10 into an all-purpose braising and steaming tool. Vintage-style self-basting ridges on the underside collect moisture and drip it evenly across the cooking surface. Steam vegetables, melt cheese, finish fried eggs, or keep stovetop and oven braises simmering smoothly.
- 100% CAST IRON, LID AND KNOB – The lid and knob are both solid cast iron, just like your skillet. No synthetic coatings, no Teflon, nothing that wears off over time. The seasoning develops alongside your skillet the more you use it.
- SUSTAINABLY PRODUCED & ISO CERTIFIED: Scrap iron is remelted for future pours and sand from the castings is continuously cycled back into production with zero waste. Every iron pour at our foundry is sampled and tested to ensure the highest standards.
- MADE IN THE USA – Cast in America using recycled iron and green sand molds, the same process used for every Field skillet. Seasoned with multiple coats of grapeseed oil before it ships.
- DIMENSIONS – 11⅝" diameter, 5 lbs, 4¾" total height when placed on skillet. Pre-seasoned and ready to use.
