• [Fitment] Compatible with BMW X5 X6 5 6 7 Series 550i 650i 750i 750Li F02 F04 F07 F12 F13 E70 E71 E72 2008-2018
• [Part Number] 13717577452, 13717577451
• [N63 COMMON FAILURE: Cracked Intake Hose → Boost Leak → Loss of Power / CEL / Limp Mode] The N63 air intake hoses are a KNOWN weak point — the rubber/plastic deteriorates from heat (hot-vee turbo design): ✓ Check Engine Light (CEL) — codes: 30FF, 30BA, 2DFE (boost pressure too low) ✓ Reduced power / limp mode (engine limits boost due to detected leak) ✓ Whistling or whooshing noise under acceleration (boost leak) ✓ Rough idle or hesitation ✓ Turbo lag feels worse than normal ✓ Visible cracks, splits, or collapsed sections on hose ✓ Oil residue around hose connections (turbo seal leak).
• [Item included] 2PCS Air Intake Hose Left+Right Engine Air Intake Duct Hose Tube
• [Installation— Basic Hand Tools — No Engine Removal Required] Installation steps: 1) Remove engine cover (pull up) 2) Locate intake hoses on top of engine (between air boxes and turbo inlets) 3) Loosen hose clamps at both ends of each hose (T25 Torx or flathead) 4) Disconnect MAF sensor connector if applicable 5) Carefully remove old hoses (may be brittle — don't force) 6) Install new hoses — ensure proper seating and orientation 7) Tighten all clamps to spec 8) Reconnect sensors 9) Clear fault codes with BMW scanner (ISTA/Bimmerlink/Carly) 10) Test drive — verify boost pressure returns to normal.
