• - Razor-sharp High Carbon Steel blades are ready to use right out of the package, Ash wood handles. The secret to the Flexcut tool’s incredible ability to flex or bend is dual tempered spring steel. As a result, they ‘give’ under pressure, yet have an incredible stay – sharp hardness of Rc 60-61. Designed specifically for the incomparable control that only hand pushing can provide. The blades are pre-sharpened to a razor sharp edge and hence will slice through wood effortlessly. Ash wood handles, are specially formed & feature an improved palm grip design for comfort & control. Sets include wood case.
• Tool storage tips: Due to the extreme sharpness of the tools, they should be stored in their carrying case and out of reach of children when not in use. Care should be taken not to store them in a humid environment (damp basements, greenhouses, etc.). The black oxide finish on the tools is a rust inhibitor but does not rust-proof them. - Proper tool storage and tool care will help prevent your tools from rusting. In order to maintain your tools, you can apply a thin layer of a 3-in-1 oil to the entire blade. The oil may be absorbed by the wood and will prevent a finish from being applied to your carvings. Moisture desiccant packs placed in the carrying case can also be use.
