Exo Terra Ceramic Heater

The Exo Terra Heat Wave Lamp Ceramic Heat Emitter has a broader sun-like spectrum of infrared radiation than incandescent lighting and doesn't emit visible light. Radiant heat is the most important and natural source for heat regulation in reptiles. A proper heating system is a very important factor of the natural terrarium set-up. Reptiles are able to regulate their body temperature partly through radiant heat from the sun, provided by the lighting system or the Heat Wave Lamp in terrarium conditions. Proper heating is important in order for reptiles to live a healthy life. The Exo Terra Heat Wave Lamp Ceramic Heat Emitter is a radiant heat source and creates a natural sun-like heat with a uniform pattern. The long wave infrared heat produced by this emitter will warm reptiles very efficiently. It also increases the ambient air-temperature in the terrarium. Infrared heat penetrates the scales and skin tissue, promoting health and healing as it widens the blood vessels and increases blood circulation. The Exo Terra Heat Wave Lamp Ceramic Heat Emitter is to be used only with the specially designed Exo Terra Wire Clamp Lamp.
