A vintage French faience bud vase from the Emaux de Longwy art pottery workshop in France. The ceramic vessel is hand-decorated with a colorful enameled glaze in a cloisonné-style Chinoiserie design. The decoration consists of multicolored blossoms with cobalt blue leaves and black stems on a bright blue ground. The underside is fully marked with several hand-written numbers beside Longwy's black printed EMAUX DE LONGWY factory mark, with DECORE A LA MAIN above and FRANCE underneath. This mark was used from 1920-1970. The piece is in very good condition, measuring 6.5 in. H.
