Electric Lift/Manual Tilt - Omni-Lift Karrierâ"¢ Multi-Purpose Drum Handler - 8405-120 Picks up 55 gallon steel drums laying down or standing up Lifts, transports, racks, rotates, drains Versatile drum handler lets one person pick up drums, regardless of position, and raise them up to 72". Handles fully loaded drums up to 800 lbs. or half-full drums up to 500 lbs. Easy-loading cinch-type saddle accepts 55 gallon steel drums (optional adapters available on special order for other sizes). One optional adapter, AP405, is available for 55 gallon rimmed plastic drums. Fool-proof hydraulic system, with hand-operated hydraulic pump. Full lift is obtained in about 45 strokes. 30:1 reduction gear-drive allows drum to be rotated continuously through 360º, forward or reverse, holds drum at any angle desired. All welded steel frame rolls easily on two 8" polyolefin wheels and two 4" swivel casters. Designed for use with pallet racks that have adjustable drum cradles. Minimum clearances required: 7" between drums, 12" between drum and rack upright on right side, 8 1/ 2" underclearance for legs between lowest support beam and floor.
