The bats have been rebuilt with optimized barrel profiles, advanced materials and innovative technologies to increase leverage, provide solid feeland generate explosive power. The 2018-19 13.6 HYBRID is a two-piece power balanced BBCOR bat, constructed of an aluminum (Element 13) barrel + a composite (Element 6) handle. The ATAC Alloy barrel with EXACT Carbon handle, combined with new CONNEXION+ technology create a solid feel. The barrel is reinforced with CARBON-CORE technology, creating the thinnest walls in the game and pushing the limit of performance. The optimal barrel design of the 13.6 provides players with better bat control and maximum launch angle, and the new Speed Cap provides a more flexible and responsive barrel with a neutral sound on impact. The power balanced swing weight integrates an optimized barrel length and balance point with more mass in the barrel for explosive power. The 13.6 features a custom Lizard Skins DSP grip, providing players with best-in-class feel, cushion and tack.
