• Safety Cables for Towing: Keep your trailer connected to the tow vehicle if the hitch connection fails. For boat and utility trailers. An alternative to trailer safety chains where permitted.
• Coiled Trailer Safety Cables: Flexible cables control slack and reduce dragging. Stretched length: 48 inches (4ft). Check fit and turning clearance before use.
• Weatherproof Construction: Vinyl-coated marine-grade braided steel resists weather, rust and corrosion. The vinly coating reduces scratches and contact noise.
• Snap Hook Safety Latches: Each cable has two looped ends and a hardened galvanized-steel S-hook attached to one end. A spring-loaded latch keeps the hooks engaged over bumps and rough roads.
• Use Correctly: Use two safety cables or safety chains for trailer towing. We recommend the break strength of each individual trailer safety cable, not the total combined break strength of the pair, to at least equal the fully loaded trailer weight. Follow towing laws and manufacturer instructions.
• Specifications and Support: Two cables and two 11mm S-hooks included. Breaking strength (break force): 7,000lb per cable, not a combined-pair rating. Breaking strength is not working load limit (WLL). Item is backed by an American company with easy-to-reach customer service. If you have any questions or experience any issues, we are here to help.
