This Dixon 2501 Series steel hydraulic fitting is a 90-degree elbow, or "ell," for connecting a hose to pump at a 90-degree angle to change the direction of flow, with a JIC 37-degree male flare on one end and male NPTF threads on the other end for connecting two female threaded ends. It is made of steel for tensile strength and hardness and coated with zinc for resistance to corrosion. This hydraulic elbow is suitable for use in low, medium, and high pressure hydraulic applications, such as automotive, agriculture, airline, as well as municipal and industrial applications, among others.

Tube fittings are components used for connecting, branching, terminating, and changing the direction of tubing in pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
