• TOUGHEST TOPCOAT ? As the name implies, this polyacrylic topcoat is tough as Gator?s Hide. Add Gator Hide to your chalk painted kitchen or bathroom cabinets for long lasting durability. Paint on almost any surface including wood, metal, laminate, and glass. On average, each 8 oz of Gator Hide should cover about 30 square feet using our recommended three very thin coats.
• NON-YELLOWING ? This paint is non-yellowing and toughness that is perfect for your high traffic areas. Perfect for home d?cor, canvas, furniture, countertops, bookcase, coffee tables, DIY craft projects, kitchen cabinets, and more. Our easy-to-use paint is great for beginning or advanced restoration projects.
• SUPERIOR FINISH ? Gator Hide is a rock-hard semi-shine finish that will leave your projects beautiful for ages. Protect your projects and creations with nature?s long-lasting armor. Protect against sun/UV rays, light scuffs, and moisture. After fully cured, the surface is safe to clean with mild soap and water.
• HOW TO USE ? Allow your finished piece to dry completely. Use our Blue Sponge (sold separately) to add a VERY thin layer of Gator Hide to dresser, cabinet, or any other project you were working on. Let it dry and after 2-hours, reapply. Use Dixie Belle Sanding Sponge (sold separately) to gently sand between coats. Let second coat dry for 2 hours. Repeat up to 3 VERY thin layers to get a layer of protection strong enough for moisture to not damage. A 48-hour dry time is recommended.
