Design Engineering Universal Turbo Insulation Kit, 1200°F Heat Shield
- UNIVERSAL TURBO FIT – Designed to fit all turbo turbine housings, providing a flexible heat insulation solution for a wide range of turbocharged automotive and marine applications.
- REDUCES UNDERHOOD HEAT – Helps contain heat around the turbocharger to lower underhood temperatures and protect surrounding engine components from damaging radiant heat.
- HELPS REDUCE TURBO LAG – Retaining heat within the turbine housing helps support turbocharger efficiency, contributing to reduced turbo lag and a cooler intake air charge.
- 1200°F DIRECT HEAT RESISTANCE – High-temperature shielding materials are engineered to withstand direct heat up to 1200°F for demanding turbocharger environments.
- COMPLETE INSULATION KIT – Includes 12" x 36" turbo blanket material, 2" x 25' tan exhaust wrap, 6" x 36" glass fiber matting, two 14" and two 20" stainless steel locking ties.
DEI Turbo Insulation Kits are designed to fit all turbochargers, including diesels and many commercial applications. Designed to reduce turbo lag and underhood temperatures for a cooler air charge for improved performance, Turbo Insulation Kits also protect components from damaging underhood heat. Kit includes: 12" x 36" turbo blanket material, two (2) 14" and two (2) 20" stainless steel Locking Ties, one (1) 2" x 25 ft roll of Tan down pipe wrap, and 6" x 3' piece of glass fiber matting.
