- PRE-DRILLING REQUIREMENTS: The included 3 inch security screws require holes to be pre-drilled with 1/8 inch drill bit. Do not use a drill driver with max torque setting to install the 3 inch screws as you can strip or break the heads. Some doors may require mortising. Additional mortising may be required to fit your door
