Fabric bundle of 19 18-inch by 22-inch fat quarters and 1 24-inch by 44-inch panel from the Yuki collection by designer Debbie Maddy for Moda Fabrics. Yuki means "snow" in Japanese and this collection is my interpretation of icicles, frost in the air and snowflakes, from those tiny wisps to the large flakes that fall like feathers. The snowflakes seem set against a deep blue sky when I look at them... or perhaps they are the cracked ice on the surface of a frozen lake in the mountains. Yuki is a winter collection that can transition into quilts and projects for any season.
