• Dashi is a highly popular soup stock and the backbone of Japanese cuisine and cooking. Dashi forms the base for miso soup, clear broth soup, noodle broth soup, hot pot broth and many other simmering liquids to accentuate the savory flavor known as umami.
• Since making dashi from scratch can be a bit overwhelming, we offer you instant dashi powder that is simply added to a pot of simmering liquid. This one-step process allows you to easily create tasty, flavorful and savory dishes in your very own kitchen without compromising on quality and taste.
• Dashi stock infuses your dishes with unparalleled umami flavor. Umami, which means “deliciousness” in Japanese, is that rich, savory, tongue-coating quality that lingers on your tongue and makes certain foods so irresistibly delicious. Dashi is the secret ingredient for homemade savory goodness.
• Use dashi broth when you're boiling rice, as the basis of miso and noodle soups, or to gently cook a piece or fish. Dashi powder imparts a rich, savory taste, thanks to the naturally occurring glutamic acid in the dried ingredients of Dashi powder. Let dashi powder bring the sensation of umami into all of your meals.
• Authentic Japanese Dashi stock tastes as rich and complex as a broth or stock that's been simmering for hours, but it takes far less time to make. Dashi is usually built on just one or two ingredients, made by simmering edible sea kelp and bonito fish flakes for the ultimate flavorful soup stock.
