- DAP Polyurethane Premium Construction Adhesive Sealant is an elastomeric commercial-grade sealant that can be used for windows, doors, siding, tuck pointing, pipes, vents, chimneys and more
- Commercial grade sealant for exterior and interior application adheres to a wide range of building materials such as wood, aluminum, most metals, vinyl, PVC trimboard and more
- Impact and cut resistant, flexible enough to withstand 70% total joint movement and can handle foot and vehicle traffic
- Gray adhesive is 100% waterproof, has a weatherproof seal, and can be applied above or below the waterline
- Meets or exceeds ASTM C920, Type S, Grade NS, Class 35, cured sealant may be painted after 7 days
DAP traces its roots back to 1865, when Robert H. Dicks and Elmer Wiggim began producing sealing wax for food-canning out of Dicks' garage in Dayton, Ohio. Through innovation and acquisition, the company continued to expand its product line. DAP entered into an exclusive marketing agreement with the worldwide leader in silicone technology in 1980 to market a full line of silicone sealants. In the mid 1980's, Weldwood branded adhesives came into the fold. Plastic Wood brand was integrated into the DAP portfolio of products in the 90's.
