Creative Grids exclusive non-slip grip allows you to easily slide the ruler over the fabric until positioned correctly. Then, when slight pressure is applied, the grip holds the ruler in place, eliminating slipping while you cut.
Easy to read 1in black grid lines with 1/8in and 1/4in marks.
Solids black lines are marked at 7/8in intervals taking the math out of figuring what size square to start with.

Solid black lines are marked at 7/8 inch, 1-7/8 inch, 2-7/8 inch, 3-7/8 inch, 4-7/8 inch and 5-7/8 inch so it is easy to cut the squares and strips needed to create half-square triangles that finish 1 inch to 5 inches.
