- SHALLOW REMODEL FLEXIBILITY: 6" shallow recessed housing installs from below finished ceilings—ideal for tight-clearance remodels in residential and commercial spaces. E26 socket supports HALO LED trims, traditional trims, and other UL-classified options.
- CONTRACTOR-FRIENDLY INSTALLS: High-tension remodel springs and a precision flange ensure a tight, flush fit, while the Slide-N-Side junction box, built-in wire traps, and Quick Connect push-in wire nuts speed clean, toolless, code-compliant connections
- IC-RATED AND AIR-TITE: Safe for direct contact with insulation while helping reduce airflow and energy loss between conditioned and unconditioned spaces. (Not for use with spray foam insulation.)
- DURABLE, INDOOR/OUTDOOR PERFORMANCE: Single-wall aluminum housing with a precision interlocking collar maintains aperture geometry for reliable results. Wet Location rated for covered ceilings when paired with appropriate trims

The H27RICAT housing is designed for remodelling use in shallow ceilings where 2 in. x 6 in. joist construction is used. The wide variety of trims available allows a number of different lighting effects to be created with one basic housing. The H27RICAT is designed for installation where the housing will be in direct contact with air permeable insulation. The Air-Tite H27RICAT also meets restricted air flow requirements.
