Continental Urban Taraxagum 700x35 Folding City Bike Tire, Vectran Breaker
Product Description
Continental Urban Taraxagum 700x35 Folding City Bike Tire, Vectran Breaker
- Dandelion Rubber: Continental's first series-production bike tire using dandelion rubber (Taraxagum), produced in Europe with shorter supply routes than its usual natural rubber.
- Vectran Breaker: Spun from liquid-crystal polymer and more cut-resistant than aramid. Lighter and more flexible than a nylon breaker, without hurting rolling resistance.
- Built for Urban Riding: Continental made this tire for commuting and everyday city rides, a fit for city, hybrid and road bikes that take a 35 mm tire.
- Folding Bead, Tube Type: A foldable bead for easier handling and storage. This is a tube-type clincher, so use it with an inner tube.
- Size Details: 700x35 (ETRTO 35-622) for 622 mm rims; Continental also labels this size 28 x 1-3/8 x 1-5/8. Pressure range 37-87 PSI per Continental's catalog.
