- Turning pens and pencils can be a ton of fun and when you have just the right pen blank or the just right color it makes the process even more enjoyable! The Color Splash Acrylic Blanks are the perfect way to add just the right amount of color to your finished pen or pencil.
- One of the best parts about acrylic blanks is that you don't need to add endless amounts of waxes or finishes for a wonderful shine. High grit abrasives (not included) and some C/A glue (not included) will do the trick and produce a high gloss finish
- The colors range from conservative two tones to wild multicolored patterns that a sure to please anyone you give these pens too.
- Wether you decide to make them as gifts or sell the Color Splash pens you will be very happy with the end results. When turning acrylic material on a lathe, it is highly recommended that you use sharp turning tools for optimum results.
- Negative rake carbide turning tools also produce fantastic results when turning acrylics. Each blank measures approximately 3/4" x 3/4" x 5" and can be drilled like a standard wooden blank. Each blank is available individually or you may purchase all 20 blanks in an assortment pack that comes with one of each color.
