• Personalization: Two brass nameplates are included with this urn vault and can be engraved for an additional price. Up to two lines of text (23 characters or less per line) can be engraved onto each plate. Please note, custom vault is non-returnable (even if blank plates are choosen).
• Decorative Plates: Two decorative plates with an embossed image of mountain forest are included and fit into recessed areas in the vault's lid.
• When to Use an Urn Vault: If a family has selected a brass urn, wood urn, or similar traditional urns, then the use of a separate urn vault is preferred. Know your loved one’s ashes will be safe when laid to rest. Families who plan to bury an urn in a cemetery are often required to enclose and seal the urn in a separate urn vault. The primary purpose of the urn vault is to protect the urn from the weight of the earth and any heavy cemetery maintenance equipment. This urn vault has the capacity to hold a wide variety of urn sizes, including extra-large urns.
• Created for Earth Burial: The Champion XL Urn Vaults meet the requirements of many cemeteries regarding the use of an urn vault to protect cremation urns being buried in the ground. Vaults are intended to protect urns from the elements as well as from possible damage from heavy ground equipment (please check your cemetery requirements).
• Dimensions: Exterior Dimensions: 18”.75 L x 13.5” W x 111” H Interior Dimensions: 15" L x 10.”25 W x 7” H (The tapered lid adds extra height in the center area, not reflected in these measurements)
• Materials: A brass bolt secures the lid to the base at each corner of the vault. Adhesive is included as an additional sealant between the lid and base. The polymer construction of the Champion XL Urn Vault will not corrode when placed in the ground. This vault has been tested to withstand substantial weight and pressure when buried (up to 4080 lbf -- top load pressure).
