• BASEPLATE WAX - This wax comes in a pink or red colored rectangular wax sheet, is available in ten formulas, and is classed by four hardness levels.
• APPLICATIONS - Our Baseplate Wax is commonly used to build trial plates for the arrangement of artificial dentures, inlay patterning, boxing of impression, casting, establishing the arch form, the occlusal plane level, recording the maxillary mandibular relation, corrective impressions, and bite registration. This wax is used for initial modeling and later fitting trial dentures (try-ins) before the finished product is completed.
• EASY TO USE - Baseplate wax is easy to form and carve, resists flaking or chipping during carving, and boils out cleanly. The wax is rigid at mouth temperature but can be molded at higher temperatures without cracking or tearing.
• ALL-SEASON, MEDIUM HARDNESS WAX - This wax holds its form within a wide range of ambient temperatures. Popular for dentures and partials, exceptional working quality, and ideal softening temperature of 150°F (65°C).
• COLOR & PACKAGING - Available in Standard Pink and Rubine Red. Available in 1 lb and 5 lb boxes.
