It is suitable for scouring seams and soldered joints. The black block base and ergonomic handle are made of plastic for durability. The durable nylon bristles are 1/2" long and white, and they maintain their shape well and resist temperatures up to 350 degrees F. The overall dimensions are 7-1/4 x 1/2 inches (length x width). All brush material is free of BPA (Bisphenol A) to address safety concerns raised by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other organizations.
