Candide (1974 Broadway Revival Cast)

The 1974 revival of Candide was a wild, stripped-down, screwball version of the original, so it was bound to be a hit with audiences-and the critics fell in love, too, as the production earned a Tony and a NY Drama Critics Circle award! Some new Sondheim lyrics were penned for this production, and this marks its CD debut.
