Canada Geese

For centuries, the sight of Canada geese flying in their signature V formation has heralded the coming of the seasons, and has inspired poets, painters, naturalists, as well as casual wildlife observers. We cannot help but marvel at their ability to transcend the gravitational pull of earth, and navigate thousands of miles using as their compass the sun and stars and the natural landmarks that have been memorized through generations. We also cannot help but feel a kindred spirit for these creatures who mate for life, defend and protect their offspring, and live in family units within social communities. This book hopes to provide interesting facts about our feathered friends who share our world.
