Machined 1018 cold-rolled steel like the vintage originals, contributes to sustain and harmonic content that made these guitars legendary!
Precision-machined top surface is free of paint, ensuring solid metal-to-metal contact with top plate for optimal tone.
Precision-reamed Delrin insert in arm hole removes arm play, provides best tremolo feel available!
We strongly recommended Callaham’s Virtual Pop-In arm (not included) for best results.
Machined with shallow string ball holes, like the originals.

Callaham's Enhanced replacement blocks are designed to provide both a tonal upgrade and improved mechanical feel over the stock tremolo. They attach to the existing Fender top plate with hardened screws (included), and can be installed in minutes. Machined from 1018 cold-rolled steel like the vintage originals, they provide the hardness and the mass of the original blocks (unlike the cast or sintered-steel blocks used in much of Fender's later production), helping restore the tonal signature of the vintage tremolos.

The action of the arm is much improved as well. The arm hole in the block is sleeved with a Delrin bushing that eliminates play in the arm, providing much better feel and action over stock. Callaham's Virtual Pop-In arm required for best performance (arm not included, available in three lengths on Amazon: CA-ARM-POP-FE, CA-ARM-POP-64, CA-ARM-POP-DG).

This block fits Fender American Standard; Strat Plus Deluxe. Does not fit American Deluxe or Strat Ultra.
