Here are a few tips to get a proper seal: 1. Always ensure there is at least 2 inches(5cm)of space left at the top of the bag. 2. While you use this unit, make sure the bag opening is fully inside the chamber, or air may be left inside the bag. 3. Make sure the bag opening does not cover the air hole in its oval-shaped chamber or reach out. 4. While you press down on both corners of the lid to lock, you should hear a "click" from each corner. Do not vac-seal if the lid is unlocked.
