CFS Pleated Sediment Pre-Filters for EQ-304, 10 x 2.5 in, 4 Pack

CFS Pleated Sediment Pre-Filters for EQ-304, 10 x 2.5 in, 4 Pack

• Four washable pleated pre-filter cartridges in the standard 10 by 2.5 inch size, replacing EQ-304 class pleated pre-filters. At a change every two to three months that covers most of a year, and longer again if you rinse them between changes.
• Accordion-fold pleats give high flow and rinse-clean reuse. They capture sand, silt and rust ahead of your system, and when one loads up you take it out, hose the pleated face down from the outside and refit it. Most owners get one or two rinses before a cartridge is genuinely finished.
• Fits any standard 10 by 2.5 inch housing, the same size as S1, ECP20-10 and other pleated cartridges. Note the length: this is the 10 inch cartridge, and larger systems use the 20 inch EQ-304-20, so measure the one you are pulling out before ordering.
• A pre-filter earns its place by protecting what follows it. Sand and rust reaching a carbon stage or a membrane shortens the life of both, and those are considerably more expensive than a pleated cartridge. Changing this one on schedule is what keeps the rest of the system to its proper interval.
• This is sediment media: it captures particles and nothing else. It is not carbon and does not change the taste or odor of your water. Replace about every two to three months, sooner if your pressure drops. CFS is an independent brand, a compatible replacement and not an OEM part.
