Bouquet From the Met

Combining floral artistry with fine and decorative art, this volume depicts displays of fresh flowers within the galleries and period rooms of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. Their creator, Chris Giftos, known for the lavish bouquets he constructs weekly in the museum's Great Hall, was inspired by the Met's collections and their settings to create scores of arrangements for this book. The illustrations are accompanied by text in which the author explores Giftos's art, which encompasses wide variety in scale, style, colour and mood.
