Bordallo Pinheiro Green Cabbage Charger Plate, Set of 2, Handcrafted Ceramic, Earthenware, Modern Style, Large Size, Dinnerware Charger Plates

• Bordallo Pinheiro’s cabbage tableware is the Portuguese company’s signature style and this green charger plate is produced in its original Caldas de Rainha factory. It is hand painted and brings a new texture and dimension to any table. Place it beneath the coordinating dinner plates for a perfectly styled dinner setting.
• Bordallo Pinheiro’s set of two green cabbage charger plates have a generous size and a textured surface that emulates the leave's natural look. They’re made in Portugal from glazed earthenware and simply accented by a logo-stamped base. Lay them as the foundation to a creative tablescape.
• All products from Bordallo Pinheiro may be used in the microwave oven, for heating, except those that have metal or wooden attachments. Products must not be empty during the heating process. Always use a handle or an appropriate glove when removing heated earthenware pieces from the microwave.
• Products can go in the dishwasher, but they should not be left in the machine for extended periods of time, as the steam can be harmful to the pieces.
• Designs are based on the Portuguese everyday life. With remarkable boldness and critical sense, the patterns have diverse influences as vast as: Renaissance, Naturalism, Art Nouveau and the Spanish and Arab legacy. The Cabbage Collection, in its rough and flat form, could be used as a metaphor for Portugal's rustic ways, which Bordallo had so many times caricatured.
