Blue Demon ER4047 X 3/32” X 10LB Box Aluminum TIG Welding Rods, Excellent Fluidity, Relatively Low Melting Point, Crack Resistant, Corrosion Resistant
- High Silicon Content: ER4047 contains a higher amount of silicon than other aluminum welding rods such as ER4043. The higher silicon content gives this rod increased fluidity
- Melting Point: This rod has a lower melting point (1180⁰F) relative to other aluminum welding rods
- ER4047 is crack resistant as well as corrosion resistant. This rod is suitable for applications with sustained elevated temperatures
- Applications: automotive, aerospace, general fabrication. This rod can also be brazed and used for gap filling
- Tensile Strength: 27 Kpsi
