Blue Demon Alloy 3000 X 1/8" X 14" X 2 rods dissimilar metal electrode
- BD 3000 can be used to weld dissimilar or unknown metals and produces smooth, porosity free welds without undercut or splatter
- BD 3000 contains a special ferrite balanced chemistry. This allows the rod to be used as a "Stud Pulling" electrode – able to be used to remove broken studs, bolts, drill bits, etc
- Typical applications for this welding electrode include: welding dissimilar metals, repair of tools, dies, springs, welding carbon steel, rebuilding shafts and blades used in the chemical, construction and mining industries, and more!
- This rod can be used in all positions on AC or DC with a reverse polarity connection (DCEP)
- Yield Strength: ksi 94 Tensile Strength: ksi 132, Tensile Strength as work hardened: ksi 186
