• Includes a red plastic center locator for accurate alignment over pre-bored holes to ensure precise positioning.
• The 10" carrier are made from durable bamboo, providing eco-friendly construction and excellent stability during use.
• Features two adjustable red stops on the back of the template that can be adjusted up to 1/2", accommodating door jamb thicknesses of 1-3/8” to 1-3/4”.
• Fine steel nails at both ends of the carrier make it easy to securely attach the template to the door or jamb.
• Secure the template to the door jamb, remove the locator, and route the mortise using a 5/8” router template guide and a 1/2” mortising bit for smooth, accurate cuts.
• Ideal for both contractors and DIYers, providing consistent and professional-quality results for latch, strike, and deadbolt installations.
• Can be used with the 70168 clamp-on kit (sold separately) for a no-nail installation, preventing unwanted marks on the door.
