• More comfortable steering control: The BerleyPro Raised Handle gives you a larger, more substantial grip for controlling the rudder on compatible Hobie Outback and Compass kayaks. The raised design provides more room for your hand and additional leverage when steering, particularly when manoeuvring or dealing with stronger water movement.
• CNC-machined aluminium construction: Manufactured from CNC-machined aluminium with stainless steel fasteners, the handle is built for the demanding environment of kayak fishing. The combination provides a strong, rigid steering control while resisting the effects of regular exposure to water and outdoor conditions.
• Raised design for additional leverage: The increased height and larger grip make the steering handle easier to grasp and operate than a small, low-profile control. The additional leverage can make rudder adjustments more comfortable, especially during longer trips or when frequent steering corrections are required.
• Designed for Hobie Outback and Compass: Purpose-built for compatible Hobie Outback models from 2019 onward and Hobie Compass models, the BerleyPro handle replaces the standard steering handle with a raised alternative. Installation uses the existing steering assembly and supplied stainless steel fasteners.
• Optional front mounting point: An M6 threaded mounting point at the front of the handle provides an attachment point for a compatible steering knob. This gives you the option to further customise the steering control to suit your preferred grip and setup.
