Belleek Classic Luck of the Irish Ornament | Parian China | Made in Ireland

• Three Painted Shamrocks: Saint Patrick used the three-leaf shamrock in the 5th century to explain the Trinity to the Irish people, and Ireland's national symbol has carried that meaning ever since. At the centre of this ornament, three shamrocks are painted by hand in deep green within a silver horseshoe. Made in Ireland.
• Parian Ornament Diameter: Belleek's Parian China takes its name from the marble of the Greek island Paros, and is lighter and more translucent than standard bone china. Each piece passes through 16 pairs of hands; any failing inspection is destroyed, not sold. This ornament measures 3.3 inches in diameter.
• Celtic Torc Border: The outer rim is embossed with a pattern drawn from the Celtic torc, the twisted metal neck ring of the ancient Irish, hoards of which have been found across the island. At the centre, a silver horseshoe frames the shamrocks, and the words Luck of the Irish are lettered in green Celtic script across the face.
• Green Ribbon Display: This ornament hangs on a dark green satin ribbon printed with the Belleek name, finished with a gold bead, and arrives in the Belleek gift box ready to give. A natural gift at a new home blessing, a wedding, or St. Patrick's Day, it also finds a home on a Christmas tree or window hook year-round.
• County Fermanagh Pottery: Belleek has been made on the banks of the River Erne in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland, since 1857, making it Ireland's oldest working fine china pottery. The Belleek backstamp confirms Irish origin. Explore the full range of Belleek ornaments and keepsakes made at the same County Fermanagh site.
