How do I check my oil pressure?
First you will need an oil pressure gauge. Then you will need to locate and remove the oil pressure sending unit from the side of the engine block. Insert the oil pressure gauge where the oil pressure sending unit was. Make sure it is out of the way but still visible then start the engine. You will receive a more accurate reading if the engine is at normal operating temperature. ( 180-220 )
All engine require a minimum of at least 10 psi per 1,000 rpm' s
