Transmission-Specific Fitment: Fluid-level measuring tool for select Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram and Volkswagen vehicles equipped with NAG1/W5A580, 42RLE, 62TE or specified CVT transmissions. Match the transmission code and service chart, not engine size alone.
Select Chrysler and Dodge Applications: Covers specified 300, Charger, Magnum, Challenger, Nitro, Avenger, Sebring, Pacifica, Grand Caravan, Town & Country and Journey configurations. Vehicle year ranges vary by transmission; confirm year, model and transmission before ordering.
Select Jeep, Ram and VW Applications: Designed for specified Commander, Grand Cherokee, Liberty, Compass, Patriot, Wrangler, Ram 1500, Ram C/V, Dakota, Durango and Volkswagen Routan configurations. Replacement references: 917-327, 8863B, 9336 and 9336A.
Correct Fluid-Level Checking: Insert the tool until the measuring tip bottoms against the transmission pan, remove it, and compare the reading with the correct fluid-temperature chart in the vehicle service information. This is a service tool and should be removed after checking.
