This is a AutoWorld 1/24 Jack Beckman Aaron's Dream Machine 2011 Dodge Charger NHRA Funny Car! It is a replica of the car that he has raced to three wins so far this season and counting! Jack Beckman has been racing in the NHRA since 1991 when he started out in the Super Comp class. He won the Lucas Oil World Championship in Super Comp in 2003. He has also instructed over 6,000 students at Frank Hawley's NHRA Drag Racing School! In May 2004, following his Super Comp championship season in 2003, Beckman was diagnosed with cancer (high grade level 3B Lymphoma), which we now know has a survival rate of 46-60 percent. Beckman had his eighth and final chemotherapy treatment on October 25, 2004, after which he was informed by doctors that they had been successful and his cancer was in remission.
