Charted for 14 count fabric. Finished size is 14 inches (196 stitches) by 14 inches (196 stitches).
Chart uses up to 48 colors DMC Cotton Floss. Full stitches only. No half stitches and no backstitching necessary.
We provide two charts both printed in black ink on bright white 11" by 17" paper. Chart #1 is a single page overview chart. Chart #2 is a 4 page enlarged chart that you work from.

This chart was Inspired by artichoke wallcovering pattern designed by J. H. Dearle and William Morris and manufactured by Morris and Company in London. William Morris 1834 -1896 was an English textile designer, artist, writer, socialist and Marxist associated with the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood and the English Arts and Crafts Movement. The Arts and Crafts Movement was a British, Canadian, Australian and American design movement that flourished between 1880 and 1910. It was instigated by the artist and writer William Morris in the 1860s and was inspired by the writings of John Ruskin. It influenced architecture, domestic design and the decorative arts, using simple forms and a medieval style of decoration. It advocated truth to materials, traditional craftsmanship and economic reform.
